The Mend Psychiatric Services works with select insurance plans through Headway, a secure platform that manages insurance verification and billing.

When a scheduling request is submitted, Headway verifies insurance eligibility and benefits prior to the appointment. This process helps confirm coverage, estimated copays, deductibles, and any authorization requirements before care begins.

Questions about insurance coverage, billing, or self-pay options are welcome and can be addressed during the scheduling process. The goal is to ensure expectations are clear before care begins.

Self-Pay

Self-pay options may be available for patients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plans are not accepted. Service fees are:

• $295— Initial psychiatric evaluation (60+ minutes)

• $175— Follow-up appointments (30 minutes)

• A small number of openings are reserved for those needing financial flexibility. Sliding Scale options may be available based on need. Please inquire with the practice.

• Acceptable forms of payment: major credit cards, ACH transfer, and HSA accounts.
